EFFORT AND DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF THE PROPOSED ITINERARIES

What is the difficulty level of the itineraries we propose?

We classify our itineraries according to the requested effort, we consider both the difficulty of the itinerary and the physical effort required and the presence of refreshment points.

Level for hiking and trekking

OO Easy

The itinerary takes place mainly on dirt roads, mule tracks and on comfortable paths; The elevation gain is less than 400 m, there are support points and/or the possibility to shorten the lap. It can be a half-day or evening tour.

OO Moderate

The itinerary takes place on dirt roads and on paths, there can be very short steep or uneasy strokes; the elevation gain is less than 800 m. There are usually refreshment points and/or shortcuts.

OO Challenging

The itinerary is mainly on paths that may have steep or uneasy sections; the elevation gain is less than 1200 m. There can be points of support and few alternative paths.

OO Only the brave

The possibility to find water or shelter is not guaranteed, so these itineraries are for experienced, trained and motivated people. Trekking of this level may require you to proceed in complete autonomy for several days

Level for MTB

The difficulty level of the itineraries are similar also in MTB.

OO Easy

The itinerary is mainly on paved and dirt roads; the elevation gain is less than 500 m, there are fountains and support points and/or the possibility to shorten the lap. It can be a half-day or a evening tour.

OO Moderate

The itinerary is on dirt roads with a good background, there can be very short steep or uneasy strokes; the elevation gain is less than 1000 m. There are usually refreshment points and/or shortcuts.

OO Challenging

A discreet driving technique both uphill and downhill is required, so you always find the best line. There may be steep strokes, roots and swaying stones; the elevation gain is less than 1500 m. There can be few points of support and few alternatives for the path.

OO Only the brave
